This is the first outcome of the InterCorp 2009 international conference held in Prague, presenting comparative studies of eight languages contrasted with Czech. Explorations of grammar, lexis, translations, applications and methodological issues are illustrated with reference to language pairs or wider groups of languages. This volume is accompanied by Mnohojazyčný korpus InterCorp: Možnosti studia, published simultaneously by NLN, presenting contributions written in the Czech language.
